Stryker's Prepare to Return Home

In Iraq, the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team is still making preparations to return home. Stryker vehicles must also undergo a maintenance and preventative check before they can be shipped back to Alaska. About 3 thousand 5 hundred Fort Wainwright soldiers are still deployed overseas. Soldiers are returning in small groups over the next few weeks. According to Army public information officers, the entire unit should be back by mid September.
