Grizzlies Defensive Back Chosen As IFL Defensive Player of the Week

The Fairbanks Grizzlies left early this morning en route to Billings Montana, where they'll face the number one seeded Billings Outlaws in round two of the Indoor Football League Playoffs.  And they'll do so with the I-F-L  defensive player of the week in Noah Harris.

In the Grizzlies sound defeat of the Colorado Ice last weekend, Harris seemed to be involved in every play, and non more important than this first quarter interception, that ended an Ice scoring threat.  The defensive back registered 12 solo tackles in the 42-to-14 first round win.  Now it's on to Billings, the team that beat Fairbanks three times this season.  A grizzly win, coupled with a San Angelo win against El Paso, and the Grizzlies will host the Intense Conference Championship game at the Carlson Center.  Now beating Billings may be a tall order, as the team has not been defeated this season at home.  Grizzly wideout Keith Smith, who scored 4 touchdowns in round 1, says he's gearing up for battle.
